NATURAL WAYS TO REDUCE WRINKLES

NATURAL WAYS TO REDUCE WRINKLES

Aging is natural process that we just can’t prevent. No matter what we try to do we will eventually age. But what we can do is suppress the signs of aging on our body, prevent them and try to minimize their appearance and you can try to remove wrinkles naturally.

As we age various lines start show on our skin. Those lines increase with years and become ridges on our skin that are known as wrinkles.

During the process of aging our skin loses its elasticity, becomes thinner and dryer and loses its ability to defend itself from the harmful environmental effects.

Wrinkles form in the part of the skin called dermis. It is the part that contains the proteins as elastine and collagen that give the skin it natural elasticity. With age the dermis cells multiply slower and it becomes thinner as the collagen fibers become weaker and wrinkles start to appear. Along with this our organism lowers the amount of excreted hydrating oils that make the skin dry and more prone to wrinkling.

Wrinkles first appear on the parts of the face that are most exposed  wrinkling during face mimicking as eyes and lips but also on the parts of the face most exposed to gravity as chin and neck.

WHAT CAUSES WRINKLES

There are various factors that determine the appearance of wrinkles on your face and we listed  some most common.

Genetics

One of those factors is genetics. It is very possible that your face will start wrinkling similar as your mother or grandmother.

Smoking

Smoking is one of the most serious causes of wrinkles. Tobacco contains various substances that slow down the circulation of blood around the aria of the face and it will slow down the process of supplying cells with nutrients and oxygen.

Sunlight

Sun, or actually it harmful effects are also one of factors that increases the appearance of wrinkles, which is especially in people over 50.  People with lighter skin tone have lower natural ability for protection against harmful sunlight and are more prone to wrinkles compared to people with darker skin.

Dehydration

Dehydration is also one thing that will speed up wrinkling on your skin. If you don’t have the habit of applying protective hydrating cream on your skin and also don’t drink water as much as you need to, your skin will become dry and more prone to wrinkles.

Facial expression

Your facial expressions are also one thing that can speed up wrinkling of your face. If you laugh a lot, and make grimaces your skin is wrinkling all the time and there will sooner appear wrinkles.

Alcohol

Alcohol is another thing that can ruin the elasticity of your skin. When you drink alcohol, your organism, as well as your skin dehydrates and in time it will result in skin that lost it natural elasticity and will wrinkle.

Sleep position

The way you sleep can also affect on appearing on wrinkles. If you sleep on your face you are applying too big pressure on the skin and it will result in early wrinkles. The material on your pillow cases as well as your pillow needs to be soft and natural so that you can protect your skin from wrinkling.

Lack of care

Other factors can also speed up this process. If you are one of those people that  don’t remove make up before going to sleep your face is also as risk as it is if you don’t use sunscreen, you use aggressive techniques for removing zits, acne and blackheads, if you chew gum regularly or are on diet too often.

THE PROGRESS

When this process starts is also relative. It depends on genetics, nutritional and life habits but it can be said that first wrinkles start to form on our face in the late 20’s and then in time their visibility and quantity changes with years. There are various different processes that are going on in our skin in different periods of life and they are determining the process of aging and wrinkling of our skin.

YOUR 20’S

It early 20’s the wrinkles didn’t start to appear yet. Therefore this is the period when prevention is the key. How you treat your skin in this period of life is what it will look like later. It is too early to start using anti-aging cosmetics, but it is the right time for you to become aware that your skin needs protection from various environmental factors but also from heavy makeup, bad nutrition, tobacco smoke. In the early 20’s the skin is fresh, elastic, tight and glowing without any wrinkles, but this situation starts changing in the late 20’s when first wrinkles start to form especially around the eyes and lips.

YOUR 30’S

In the 30s first signs of aging will start appearing on the chin and neck, because they are parts that are most exposed to gravity. There are signs that the skin on the chin is dropped and lost its elasticity. Wrinkles continue forming around the eyes and lips and even though are not that visible they are there and you need to be aware of them and start using anti-aging cosmetics.

YOUR 40’S

Women in their 40’s become concerned with another factor that is speeding up appearing of wrinkles- hormones. As you are closer to menopause you will see that the wrinkles that appeared in the 30’s are now deeper and more visible. The skin on the chin loses it elasticity as well as the skin under the eyes and eyelids and on the cheeks. If you started using anti-aging cosmetics in your 30’s now is the time to get more advanced care.

YOUR 50’S

In the 50’s your skin is going through structural changes. The dermis loses it volume, the muscles lose their tonus and the bone structure of the scull is going through slight changes. In this period you can see the effects gravity has on your skin right there on your face. The wrinkles are deeper and more visible and they are almost all over your face.  The middle part of the face also loses it volume and it will result in dropped skin on the cheeks and under the eyes.  But even the signs of aging are that progressed it is important to provide your face with proper anti-aging protection.

YOUR 60’S

The 60’s are the time when you have to become aware of your age and start to enjoy it. It is important to keep using proper care and especially good protection from the sun so that you prevent dark spots. In your 60’s the skin will significantly loose the volume around the chin, jaw and neck while the wrinkles in the upper part are more and more visible and deep.

HOW CAN WE HIDE WRINKLES

There is a way to hide your wrinkles while they are still not that deep. You can do it using make up but you need to choose the right kind of makeup products. When we talk about hiding wrinkles with makeup it is for the best to use less make up to get better effect. We are used to think that padding foundation and powder on areas we are trying to cover will solve things but it will only intensify them. The makeup will fill up not only the wrinkles but also the pores and you might even look older than you really are.

One of the best choices are toned face creams that have a little lighter texture and they don’t form that thick layer on the face as foundation does.  Your powder should be 2 to 3 shades darker than your skin tone because lighter will increase the visibility of your wrinkles. When you apply makeup make sure you have an accent on your eyes so that they will attract the attention from the wrinkles.
